Martin Zamora was born on a farm near Clovis, New Mexico. With deep roots in the land and values of eastern New Mexico, he comes from a long line of farmers, ranchers, and cattlemen who have called this region home since before statehood.

Over the years, he and his wife have owned farmland in Curry County, and a ranch in Torrance and Socorro counties. He has built a successful career in agriculture, cattle and horse trading, the fertilizer business, steel, trucking, and property investments—always staying true to the rural values of hard work, faith, and family. He and his wife Debbie have been married for 45 years and live in Clovis. They are proud parents of two daughters, both registered nurses, and grandparents to six wonderful grandchildren.

Since 2019, Zamora has served as State Representative for House District 63, where he has earned a reputation as a principled conservative and a tireless advocate for rural New Mexico. He currently serves on the Agriculture, Acequias, and Water Resources Committee, as well as the Government, Elections, and Indian Affairs Committee.

A conservative Hispano leader, he is focused on defending New Mexico’s agricultural heritage, protecting water rights, creating high-paying jobs in rural communities, and cracking down on crime and drug trafficking. He believes New Mexico has seen enough political devastation—and it’s time for leaders who will stand up for our way of life.
